Tiger Made The Putt. Kobe Was 8-21.

Monday, June 16th, 2008

With Cleveland’s team, Kobe would be under .500. Plain and simple. The only reason they are still on life support is because he has a team around him.

Tiger Woods didn’t need a team, the gallery or his Dad. Tiger is great and made the big putt.

Until Kobe proves to the world that he can do something when it really counts, can we just stop all the “Kobe vs MJ” talk? LeBron has accomplished more at 23 than Kobe has, and neither has led his team to the promised land. Of course, Kobe actually HAS a team. LeBron is still waiting.

The under 40% Kobe stumbled on last night, in a must win game. LA has been reduced to a team giving up huge leads in their own building. Even Mr Zen (Jackson, not the Pasturehead Zen) doesn’t appear to believe in this group.

Tiger’s coming off surgery. Kobe’s coming off the MVP award. Tiger has won 6 US Opens. Kobe owns a piece of Shaq’s ring. Tiger is married and keeps his nose clean. Kobe is married and hits on mentally unstable women. Tiger is focused. Kobe talks about leadership.

Boston in 6. Tiger wins by 5 strokes today.

Fucking Mujica. Why Is He In Cleveland?

What beats walking in a run in the 10th? Hanging a slider to the guy you traded and got nothing for. Kudos to Wedge/Shapiro for giving Mujica a place to ply his trade, and giving Kevin Kouzmanoff a lease on life.

Is it my imagination, or are Shapiro’s decisions starting to spring leaks the size of Lake Erie?

Fucking Kobe Lays Down Again.

6-19…17 points. MVP. MVP.

Three out of 4 games, Kobe underachieves, while Sasha Vujacic sleeps in a hammock. The 2007-2008 Lakers are more disappointing than the Cavs. By far. Kobe has turned a winning roster into another losing team.

Of course, the media will excuse him because he’s such a good family man.

I will repeat myself. LeBron would win the title with this Laker team. Look how close he’s come with nobody. And look how much better the Cavs played Boston.

Somewhere, Shaq Daddy is nodding his big head.
