Give us your Picks for the FINAL 4 Teams
As I continue to rail against David Dellucci, I started thinking about athletes I’ve seen play in Cleveland that I wish hadn’t. So I’m assembling a list with your help. Some of them simply sucked. Others were jerks. Others we couldn’t seem to get rid of. Here goes….
Andre Rison: He’ll always be the guy that Modell couldn’t afford and preceded the move to Baltimore. Plus he wasn’t very good.
Tim Couch: Why did so many support this ass clown? He never worked hard, and was given his job without ever earning it.
Ben Gay: Were we so bad that THIS is all we could talk about? He really made it big, didn’t he?
Jiri Welsch: He’s now in Spain, thank God. He was AWFUL.
Luscious Harris/David Wesley: Two guys, no legs. Missed shots. Layups hitting the bottom of the backboard.
Ron Hassey: Ran like he had a load of crap in his pants.
Mark Lewis: He’s our next short stop. Right.
Jackie Heidemann: Half of the 70’s “kiddie Corps”. More like “corpse”. The other half was THE Frank Duffy.
Jack Brohammer: Symbolic of too many bad Tribe teams. We’ve had hundreds of Brohammers over the years.
Charlie Spikes/Joe Charbonneau/: The one hit wonders. They get your hopes up, then disappear. Uhhh Roy Foster.
Charles White: I still see Brian Sipe waving him off the field….HE”S HIGH!!!!
Luke Witte: He may stand with God today, but he couldn’t stand up to anyone in the NBA. Not a good fighter, either. (See Ron Behagen)
1981-82 Cavs. 15-67. Geoff Huston, James Silas, Roger Phegley, Paul Mokeski. Make it stop!!!
Now it’s your turn. The guys you loved to hate. Tribe, Cavs, Browns. Leave the names right here in the thread. We’ll read them off tonight at 5pm!!!
Torero Definition: a bullfighter, esp. a matador
Toreador Definition: A matador; a bullfighter.
Blow me.
Somebody better tell Flip Saunders. It wasn’t Drew and Larry. It’s LeBron and the Potato Head defense. Once again, the Pistons couldn’t score, and the 4th quarter was the difference.
Even more amazing was scoring balance, some Wally points, and an AV hustle sighting mixed with a goofy behind the back drive.
A devastating loss for a Piston team who has trouble with Cleveland. All their hate can’t win them games. At least not against the Cavs. Rip Hamilton looked gassed, not a good sign with 14 games left in the season. Has Detroit peaked too soon?
