PLEASE RESPOND! I Need YOUR Input: Your Opinions On Our LIVE Video Quality.

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

In the last few days, Mogulus has lightened their graphics application, and they are asking me about the quality of the LIVE stream. I don’t monitor the LIVE show, but YOU DO!!! Please answer the following questions for me:

1) Has the video smoothness improved in the last few days? Is it less or more choppy? Or no change?

2) How smooth are the transitions from my camera to Lee and back again?

3) How is the phone call quality?

4) How is the video quality compared to other apps like Ustream?

5) Can you watch the whole show uninterrupted, or does it freeze up?

6) If it freezes, is it just video freeze or both audio and video?

7) Can you watch it better on one computer than another?

8) In the last few months, has Mogulus quality improved, stayed the same or declined?

YOUR answers will be forewarded to the CEO of Mogulus. Please respond and answer each of the questions clearly. Lee and I appreciate your help in making Moohead Radio better.

Trail Blazers: Young Team. What’s the Coach’s Excuse?

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Two bonehead decisions in last night’s game by Nate McMillen.

1) With 29 seconds left and up 1, instead of attacking the basket with a play designed to force Cleveland to defend, you try to run the clock out and end up with a 23 foot fade away

2) Remove Joel Pryzbilla from the game for the final 5 seconds. All he had done was block 2 LeBron drive attempts when he was in the game.

Everyone knows what happened, but why not let a young team try to win on its own without invoking the forces of nature? Why run a defense convinced LeBron would hoist a “J”, and allow him to get the inbounds so easily?

Nobody can tell me that Roy couldn’t have broken someone down with 29 seconds on the clock. It appears that the team was content giving it to the Cavs with 5 seconds left. There was no play run, and no effort to penetrate. All the Cavs had to do was move their feet on the perimeter (kinda like the final Laker play)

Going small on defense? There wasn’t sufficient time for a drive and dish, plus everyone in the building knew that LeBron was gonna take the shot. No trap, no double on the inbounds. Nothing.

Moohead commentary

Funny. Once LeBron vanquished Kobe, ESPN was trying to compare Roy with LeBron as an MVP. Is this what they are reduced to? There is no one in the game today even close to LeBron night in and night out. They also are talking about Chris Paul now. Keep lining them up. Paul is a wonderful PG. He’s not in the same solar system as LeBron. Please. Maybe it’s too simple to just come out and acknowledge that LeBron is the best. Maybe it’s too hard to swallow. Now swallow this. LeBron is as good as Jordan in his prime. Period. He’s winning with a team of slugs. Larry bricks at 25%. Gibson barely shoots. No AV. Gooden disappears. We still win on the road. LeBron scores 17 in the 4th and holds Roy at the end. Steals the final pass. In the next year or two, LeBron will be considered the greatest to play the game. No one else leads this team to the finals.

What is YOUR Favorite Moohead-ism? Your favorite Moohead Moment?

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

When John in Warren called yesterday and told Leroy to “KISS My Hoof”, I realized that Moohead Radio has contributed to the lexicon of English language. What is your favorite Moohead-ism? What has been your favorite Moohead moment?

Mr Moohead’s favorite moments:

#1 (by far) Mr Moohead’s profanity laced screaming at Jim Terry that left him speechless

Others:

The NFL predictions show introducing Tony’s Aunt
Mr Moohead’s call to the Eastwood Mall about Art Schlichter
Becky Diaz- President of the Jeff Faine fanclub (Listen to Becky here and here)

Lenny the Cow’s meaningless mantra
Leslie Fitzwilly- Voraciously gay senior citizen Tribe fan
Bill Masterson from Canal Fulton Ohio gets Mr Moohead thrown off of the TPS Radio Network (Listen to Bill ramble incoherently here, here and here)

What are YOUR favorite Moohead moments? You write them down, and we will attempt to unearth them from the hundreds of archives we have assembled.
