The Browns: What a delight watching them claim a home field advantage. Plus no exciting ending this week! It was obvious that the Browns wanted to play smashmouth against the Texans. The good news: Lewis got 134 yards. The bad news: It kept this game artificially close for too long. I seriously believe that giving the ball back to an opponent 3 times up 17-10 isn’t the way this team will consistently win. I understand the sentiment, but we need to step on opponent’s once we get a few holds from the defense. With all the DA talk, no one mentions Winslow, who catches everything in sight. Give props to the amazing 1 knee man, as he leads the league in first down catches as a TE. Don’t forget Joe Thomas, who I still say was a better pick than Adrian Pederson for our team.

The Cavs: We’re winning on the road more than at home. That’s a good early sign about focus. Plus we beat the Hoosiers on a back to back in the 4th quarter. Without Boobie for most of the game. With Sasha getting into game shape…who’s Larry Hughes? LeBron must become more consistent shooting free throws, and we still need a power forward or a point guard. I think we should take a shot at Andre Miller, and shop Hughes. Pavlovic will get Larry’s minutes.

Final words: The Browns are lined up to make a playoff push. It seems unreal. The schedule ahead favors us. The coaches must not forget what got us here, and not turn us into the conservative running machine. The Cavs are a PG away from being very good. Gibson is a mean shooter. A ball distributor like Andre Miller along with LeBron makes the team very formidable offensively. Boobie, Damon and Donyell (when back) can all spot up. Pavs can score. Z would be the beneficiary of pick and pops from more than just LeBron. If I’m Ferry, I figure out a way to get Andre.
