Borowski Blows Save…Indians Almost Guaranteed to Play Yankees

With a shaky pitcher, Trot Nixon, Josh Barfield, Andy Marte and God knows who else in the line up, the Tribe was STILL one out away from a double header sweep of the Mariners. With one fat pitch, it ended.

For the second game in a row, Joe Borowski exposed his soft white underbelly, and blew a sure win. So now, it appears that Wedgie is looking to play the Yankees in the playoffs. Not so good when you look at how our team buckles to the guys in pinstripes.

This year our record against the Yankees is…well…not good. We appear tight and intimidated against them. Especially Jhonny Peralta, who becomes stiff legged when anyone even mentions Derek Jeter.

Eric Wedge said it best: “The Yankees? Oh God…not the Yankees. I hope we don’t choke.”
