CC Hulks Up After Complete Game.
Hell…we’re throwing his arm out…but there was something special watching CC hulk up after completing a 9 inning complete game win. In what appeared to be a spastic pose down, Sabathia struck out the final batter and rejoiced on the mound while Eric Wedge twitched in the dugout.
Even nicer to see was a 2 hit game for Pronk, including a solo blast. Included during the broadcast was a priceless shot of jail bird Bruce Drennan having a one way conversation with Sam Rutigliano, who appeared to be running an out pattern. While Drennan bantered on, coach Sam appeared to turn his hearing aid off.
Maybe this will help a struggling offense against the league’s best pitcher tomorrow. In a final salute, Trot Nixon “pied” CC during his post game interview. Nixon struggled to get around Sabathia’s girth, and almost missed the pie. Sabathia crawled in the dirt looking for the pie crust, his favorite part. Go Tribe!!!
